The Navigation Inn situated alongside the Montgomery Canal has an 18th century warehouse dining room, original 19th century Inn and a canalside patio and is tthe ideal venue for eating and drinking. Featuring up to three ales from acrosss Shropshire and Wales including Stonehouse Brewery, it is also in the Good Pub Guide.

Situated adjacent to the beautiful and peaceful Montgomery Canal, The Navigation Inn and Warehouse Restaurant was originally in part an 18th century warehouse for storing lime as it was transported from mid Wales. Now beautifully restored and privately owned, we pride ourselves on the quality of our food and the warmth of our welcome. Serving high quality restaurant and bar food, where possible we source our food from local sources, and everything is made on the premises, including the bread and ice cream which are available to take away. We also offer a shop service featuring fresh fish, milk, bacon etc.

Our bar areas offer relaxed places to enjoy a wide range of beverages, including real ales. We are proud to have been awarded The Cask Marque for the quality of our beers, and are also pleased to serve an excellent range of wines from Tanners of Shrewsbury. During the winter real fires offer customers the chance to snuggle down and escape from the weather, whilst during the summer our canal side patio allows customers to enjoy al fresco dining or just to watch the world cruise by.

A range of events take place across the year from music nights to themed food evenings. In particular our annual Beer Festival over the August Bank Holiday weekend is a hugely popular event with live music, and ever increasing range of beers and a generally good time had by all!
