17th September 2014The free Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Festival, which is supported by Telford & Wrekin Council, will be taking place this year on Saturday, 20th September 2014 with heritage talks and walks, a fantastic high quality craft and food market, live street entertainment and family activities from 12noon until 5pm. The day’s events will be followed by an early evening premier of Past Lives at Enginuity in Coalbrookdale starting at 6pm.
16th September 2014Originally made for Britain's fifth wealthiest man, the Apley Cheese has been revived after 58 years. Award winning in its day, it was made for the owner of one of Shropshire’s oldest country estates. The recreation of the cheese is thanks to a collaboration between Lord Hamilton, Apley Estate owner, Martin Moyden - cheese maker, and Rosemary Keen, the last person still alive to have made the cheese.

4th September 2014Pimhill Farm in Shropshire has been named as a finalist in the national Organic Awards 2014. The farm, which has been organic since 1949, has been recognised for its Pimhill Farm Porridge Oats, which have been placed in the Top 10 of their category in this prestigious competition.
