Best of British AGA Cookery Demonstration at Ironbridge Gorge Museum of Iron Thursday evening 13th September

18th July 2012

2012 has been the year to celebrate being British! So join the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust for an evening to celebrate the Best of British food all cooked on an iconic British brand – the AGA range.

Dawn Roads, of AGA, will be cooking delicious food in the Museum of Iron café at Coalbrookdale on Thursday, 13 September from 7pm-9pm.

Fresh from the oven, guests will then have the chance to try the fabulous dishes made from local ingredients which are classically British - all served with a glass of wine.

Ruth Brown, Fundraising Manager, said: “This promises to be a fantastic event for anyone who loves to cook and eat. It is also an opportunity for all AGA owners to get to know their ranges a bit better. AGA has a long history in Coalbrookdale and it’s a great opportunity to join forces and host an evening which supports the Museum and its charitable aims.”

All proceeds from the fundraising evening will go to Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust and there will also be a chance to buy AGA cookware at a discount. All tickets priced at £15 are inclusive of free entry into the Museum of Iron from 6.30pm – 9.30pm, a glass of wine and food tastings; numbers are limited. To book please call Ruth Brown on 01952 435 900 or email ruth.brown@ironbridge.org.uk.
